We are no strangers to quality management, HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), hygiene guidelines and continuous improvement processes. On the contrary: As an integral part of our daily business, they are the cornerstone of our quality, food safety and corporate policies.
FSSC 22000 (=Food Safety System Certification)
From 1998 to 2013, our company was certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
In 2014, we took things to the next level, and extended our product quality and internalised policies by certified “food safety”.
The Rainforest Alliance
We have been supporting more the sustainable cultivation of cocoa since 2013 with our UTZ certification. The UTZ organisation is now merged with the Rainforest Alliance, and also in 2022 and onwards we will continue to follow their social, economic and environmental standards to enhance more sustainable agriculture. With the implementation of the guidelines of the Rainforest Alliance, we want to attenuate part of the direct and indirect negative effects on human rights and the environment
RSPO (= Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil)
Due to its versatile application, it is no longer possible to imagine countless products without palm oil. In order to minimise environmental damage through conventional palm oil production, we became a member of the RSPO organisation in 2014. As part of the supply chain, we promote sustainable palm oil production and stand up for environmentally friendly, ethical and socially adequate product generation.

Bio
Since 2016 we have been meeting the European legal requirements for the trade in organic products - initially in accordance with EC Organic Regulation No. 834/2007 and from 2022 in accordance with the new Organic Regulation (EU) 2018/848. Through the annual certification, we guarantee you compliance with the strict requirements that this statutory regulation places on the trade and labelling of agricultural products and foodstuffs that are put into circulation as organic products.
